Troubles of Theosophy
San Francisco, April 20.—The delegates to the niinunl convention of tho American theosophical society have proclically concluded their work, nnd many of them are now visiting the midwinter fnir. Notwithstanding tho vindication of General Secretary Judge, of Brooklyn, N". Y„ who hail been charged with trifling with the sacred rights and privileges of the Mahatinas, It Is believed that the high priests of the order, who are under the influence, to a very largo degree, of the Hindoo tbeosophlsts, will arrogate to themselves the authority of a I supreme tribunal and possibly suspend the American section from full communication. This may cause a split.
